In the two years since MinistryFocus began its mission to eliminate systemic barriers to the proclamation of the Gospel, we’ve seen an increased awareness of the financial burden carried by professional church workers. The Concordia University System and both LCMS Seminaries have showed concern about the educational debt involved in preparation for professional service to the church. One such show of concern is the Concordia Promise, an attempt on the part of Concordia University Wisconsin to ensure that lifelong Lutheran, Christian education becomes possible for more students.
